Maxi Hughes will always feel hard done by and Kambosos will always have the guilt that the better man lost.
Another black eye for boxing. Hughes was a clear winner on points. The ref, whom I have respect for, missed the elbows by Hughes. This was in NO way a title fight. Boxing, in my fight days, never would recognize a loser to entertain the thought of fighting for a title. Ring magazine used to contact me, respecting my knowledge of the sport. I hope the ref watchces film and visualizes the elbows. Kambosos’ could hardly land any punches and never had Hughes , in any trouble. The former does not deserve another title fight.
Hughes had that fight won big time. Score cards were WAAAAAAAY off the marks.. Idk what fight these judges were watching. The boxing commission needs to up the requirements for these bouts. Absurd!
