  • I’ve been waiting for this fight all summer. I think Canelo Alverez knocks out Bud Crawford in the 9th rd. . And this fight won’t be long now. At the time of writing this there’s one fight before the main event.

  • I love the way whoever is in charge of the statistics on how they have Canelo taller than Crawford at 5′ 9″ compared to Bud’s 5′ 8″. Canelo is actually 5′ 7.5″. And Crawford has a 4″ reach advantage. They are desperately trying to make Canelo bigger than Crawford, just like they were trying to make Canelo bigger than Charlo. The truth is that Crawford is bigger than Canelo. Canelo is just used to fighting bigger fighters, while Crawford has made his career on fighting smaller fighters. Not because he couldn’t have put the weight on and dared to move up and be great by fighting heavier fighters. He easily could have, just like he’s doing now. But, like many Black fighters like Haney, Shakur, Ennis, the Charlos, and others, who have the ability to make the lower weights and then blow up on fight night with obvious height, reach, and weight advantages, that’s what Crawford has been doing. So let’s get it right: Canelo is not bigger than Crawford; Crawford is! The difference is that Canelo has made his legacy fighting men his own size and bigger. while Crawford has made his fighting smaller fighters. That doesn’t make Canelo bigger! Crawford will be the bigger guy on fight night, but that will be nothing new for Canelo. Crawford will be way over his head and won’t be able to overcome Canelo’s abilities and power.

  • Crawford wins by TKO! He doesn’t beat himself, that’s why he wins. Only the most technical fighter wins this one… Good luck to both of them and hope for a classic. Thank you Boxing for putting this one together”

  • Got a feeling that Turki is setting up an ultimate undisputed super champion but getting Usik and (maybe) Crawford both holding all their belts fighting for something like say the ‘Undisputed champion of the universe’ winner takes all the belts (8)

  • I don’t think this is going to be an easy one for Canelo. If it goes the distance then it’s probably Canelo but if it’s won by KO then it’s Crawfords but out of those options I think it’s Canelo on points
