Why are positions 1 and 2 vacant in IBF, cant everyone just move up 2 and add another 2 people into the rankings
They tend to use them to assign final eliminator and mandatory positions. Once when has been announced, they’ll move those two fighters into 1st & 2nd.
Eddie Hearn is using Joseph Parker as a minesweeper to clear the other big heavyweight threats to his fragile Anthony Joseph.
First pre-Xmas “Day of Reckoning.” Eddie swapped Joshua’s opponent from Deontay Wilder to Joseph Parker’s easybeat opponent Otto Wallin, and so, Joe Parker was left to hammer the game and extremely dangerous kayo-specialist Wilder for 12 rounds. Hmmm….Hey Eddie, why did you not leave the original Wilder vs Joshua match in place? Ah, too dangerous, eh?
Next in the co-main event, Joe Parker got to bash the sledgehammer-fisted Zhilei “Big Bang” Zhang for 12 rounds, copping two flash knockdowns on the way – to defeat Zhang comfortably.
Hmmm….Hey Eddie, why not Joshua v Zhang?
Meanwhile, at the same promotion, Eddie had arranged for Joshua to face the inexperienced one-fight boxer, Francis Ngannou, in a predictable kayo against a largely defenceless who provided his open, prognathous mandible as an easy target for the pampered Joshua who took three punches in two rounds to win by kayo over a virtually harmless heavy bag .
Eddie keeps telling the trained British press, that “Joshua is back,” to continue building up his cash cow’s confidence whilst taking care of the really dangerous threats by steering THEM away to Joseph Parker.
Where is Franklin in the RATINGS. WTF
Who is that young impressive American boxer that has around 18 fights , and they’ve all been KO’s. He’s around 21 years old. I’ve only seen him fight once but he has power in both hands, and he’s a good boxer.

I thought Suliman created a new division to separate the big guys from the natural 200+. That group are probably the best pound for pound natural athletes in the world. Current boxers such as Usyk, Hunter, Kabael, Gassiev, Povetkin, and the step down Cruisers. Others that maybe in this group looking in the past, Paterson, Frazier, P Thomas, Weaver, Tunney Greb and Corbett. Mmm
WHEN IS WILDER GOING TO BE RANKED.
You’ll see him appearing in different organisations rankings as they update them over the course of March.
I doubt if boxing has been fair to Joshua. WBC does not recognize him, IBF placed him on 5th etc.
How can Joshua occupy the Champion’s slot and 5th place in the IBF? And again, how can he occupy 2 different ranks in the WBA?
They update them monthly, and they haven’t been so since he won the belts.
WHY IS FURY NUMBER RANK NUMBER 1 AND IS THE WBC CHAMPION AND WHY IS WBA HAS WILDER RANK SO HIGH.
You’re seeing a lag between the fight and when the Org’s update the positions between 1-15, which they release monthly. Wilder is coming off one of the longest reigns in Heavyweight history. He still deserves a very high ranking,
Gotcha. Thanks!
