Most Valuable Promotions will stage MVPW-04 on Saturday, June 13 at Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, streaming live on ESPN+ in the US and Sky Sports in the UK, with four female world title bouts topping the card.

Jones faces Carranza in IBF rematch

The main event features an IBF super welterweight championship rematch at 154 pounds, as Oshae Jones (9-0, 3 KOs) defends her title over 10 rounds against mandatory challenger Elia Carranza (11-2, 3 KOs).

Jones secured a tightly contested victory over Carranza in July 2025 and now returns for a second meeting with the Miami-based contender. The Toledo native, a 2020 Olympic bronze medalist, is aiming to settle the rivalry decisively.

“As an Olympic medalist and current world champion, I’m beyond excited and truly honored for the opportunity to fight on ESPN and MVP, the biggest and best platform in women’s boxing,” said Jones. “This isn’t just another fight for me; it’s a moment to help elevate the sport, inspire the next generation, and create opportunities that will change countless lives. I’m proud to be part of something that is pushing women’s boxing to new heights and making history.”

Carranza, a law enforcement officer and the IBF’s No.1 contender, believes she did enough to win their first fight.

“I’m the best TRUE 154 pounder in the world,” said Carranza. “That’s MY weight class, and I’m going to prove it. I nearly won our first fight, and now I’m coming for her belt live on ESPN+ on Saturday, June 13.”

Brown defends WBC title against unbeaten Rapp

In the co-main event, WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown (20-0, 11 KOs) defends her title at 126 pounds against undefeated contender Hannah Rapp (8-0-1, 5 KOs).

Brown, a 2012 amateur world championship gold medalist, won the WBC belt by defeating Skye Nicholson in March 2025 and later defended it against Emma Gongora.

“Saturday, June 13th, I’m going to show the world why I should never be overlooked and taken lightly,” said Brown. “I am The Dark Menace!”

Rapp, who claimed the NABF featherweight title in her fourth professional bout, enters her first world title opportunity.

“This is the moment I’ve been dreaming of and preparing for since the first day I walked into a boxing gym almost five years ago,” said Rapp. “I am thrilled to finally have the opportunity to show the world who Hanarchy is. Tiara Brown is a worthy opponent, and I know she will bring out the best of my abilities.”

Bermudez, Artiga lead remaining title fights

Argentina’s Evelin Bermudez (22-1-1, 8 KOs) makes her MVP debut defending her unified WBO, WBA and IBF light flyweight titles against Mexico’s Estefany Alegria (14-1, 4 KOs).

Bermudez unified the division with a first-round knockout of Sara Bailey and begins her first defence of the combined titles.

“I’m excited to have my next fight scheduled for Saturday, June 13 in Orlando. This will be the first defense of my WBO, IBF, and WBA titles—and, God willing, a key step toward becoming the undisputed champion,” said Bermudez. “I’m training as hard as I do for every fight, focused on pushing my limits. I’m sharpening my best weapons and adding new ones to keep my opponents guessing in the ring.”

Alegria earned the opportunity after winning the WBC Silver title in a high-intensity bout against Danna Paola Alanís.

“I’m very happy and it’s a dream come true to be fighting for a world title,” said Alegria. “It’s been years of hard work and finally on Saturday, June 13 I will become world champion. There’s nothing stopping me. I’m in the best time of my career. Bermudez is a great champ but she’s not stopping me.”

Tampa’s Jasmine Artiga (15-0-1, 7 KOs) will make the third defence of her WBA super flyweight title against an opponent yet to be confirmed.

“No talking, no glitz, no glamour,” said Artiga. “Just no mercy. This is for my grandma. It’s time to take over.”

Artiga set for third WBA title defence in Orlando

Tampa’s Jasmine Artiga (15-0-1, 7 KOs) will make the third defence of her WBA super flyweight title over 10 rounds at 115lbs against an opponent yet to be confirmed.

Artiga returns to Caribe Royale in Orlando for the sixth time in her last seven fights, having most recently secured a decision victory over Stephanie Silva in December.

Brazilian talent featured alongside prospects

The event will also highlight Brazilian fighters, including the professional debut of Jully Poca and the return of two-time Olympian Keno Marley (1-0).

Poca, unbeaten in crossover bouts since 2023, has transitioned to full-time training under coach Antonio Filho.

“I can’t wait for my MVP and professional boxing debut! This has been such a wild ride so far and I feel like it’s just starting,” said Poca. “I have been making some huge adjustments to my training camp and I am sure everyone will be shocked to see my new best version in action!”

Marley, a 2021 amateur world championship silver medalist, is targeting an early finish in his second professional outing.

“After my pro debut, I was already waiting for MVP to call and give me the date. Now to have this one set, I’m ready to keep showing the world that I’m ready for the highest level,” said Marley. “Everyone can expect a big performance from me and I will be looking for the KO from the first second of the fight.”

The undercard includes 19-year-old Gabriela Tellez (7-0, 3 KOs) defending her WBA Continental Americas lightweight title, and undefeated Nicaraguan bantamweight Jordan Orozco Hernandez (16-0, 16 KOs).

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to defend my WBA Continental Americas title, especially over 10 rounds, that’s a big step for me, but I’m confident in my ability to shine,” said Tellez. “I’ve been working hard in the gym, staying focused, and improving every day. No matter who the opponent is, I’m coming in prepared and ready to give my best performance.”

MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian pointed to the depth of championship fights on the card.

“MVPW-04 is another powerful statement from MVP as the definitive global powerhouse in women’s boxing, as we continue to showcase the deepest, most elite roster in the sport,” they said. “With world-class champions Oshae Jones, Tiara Brown, Jasmine Artiga, and Evelin Bermudez defending their titles against top contenders and mandatory challengers live on ESPN+, this card embodies exactly what MVPW was built for: high-stakes, world championship matchups featuring the best fighting the best.”

They added that the event would also spotlight Brazil’s boxing scene through the inclusion of Poca and Marley.

Attention now turns to finalising Artiga’s opponent for her WBA super flyweight title defence. For Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, the card underpins a really consistent start to its dedicated women’s boxing platform, with its 4th event in just over 2 months.
